After reading up on otherkin just now I can see how people would consider themselves as such. The human experience is very complex and whose to say what’s right and what’s wrong. However, considering that I was not singling anybody out I think it’s okay for me to make a joke about being a sea cucumber.
I also believe that it’s really, really important to remember that there are other people who, because of either their race, gender, class, sexual orientation ect, are denied the right to actually be seen as real human beings. So while there are people who don’t consider themselves as human or not completely human, there are other people all over the planet who have to fight every single day to even be perceived as human. <3
